The team was originally formed at the end of the 2006/7 season when the then Under 8's had too may players, so two teams were formed for the next season, called the Reds's and White's.

The Red's folded in 2009, leaving the Whites to become the only WSG under 14 team and therefore no longer needing the WSG Whites title.
There are still original players from that first season and the team has a strong and large following by the parents.
